I got a call today from southern electric and communications, lake Alfred, FL, owner Jeff Ericson who listened to my complain and offered to resolve it.I accepted the resolve and am happy that someone there care enough to call and listen to a customer complain.
I would give them benefit of doubt since they are good electricians.Thank you Jeff.

I have a rental house and southern electric and communications inc was hired to check up on the electrical side of my house.They recommended to update the electrical panels.
They estimated it to be $1500. When it was done in paid a little over $2000. Once the house was updated and rented I got a call from the renters that oven lights were on but coils won't heat up. I called them.
They checked and said it needed a new wiring. (Keep that in mind that oven worked just fine for 12 years with the ex Tennant without any problem, Southern electric could have spliced the wire during the updating of the electrical panels or something else I would never know). They sent me an invoice of $384. It looked little too much so I called my Tennant to ask how long it took them to fix and they said an hour or so.
I called and they said they were there for hours and won't budge about the bill. I am very disappointed in Southern electric. Will never hire them again.
